Coaches Corner

Coach Jim Crabbs has been a huge piece to Quincy’s athletics as well as academics. Mr. Crabbs taught and coached cross country/track for nine years at Riverview Gabriel Richard. He came to Quincy in the fall of `98 making this his 21st year of coaching.

I coach because I love the sport.  I also feel coaching helps my teaching…I build strong relationships with my students and runners,” coach Crabbs said.

Before coming to Quincy Coach Crabbs coached all the field events except Pole Vault at Riverview Gabriel Richard specializing in shot and discus.  Coach Crabbs has been coaching track at Quincy for the past seven years. The last two years Coach Crabbs has been coaching the high jump. He also specializes in coaching distance running like the 800m, 1600m, 3200m, and 5K.

Coach Crabbs continues to work and train our athletes as well as make scientists out of our students.

Thank you coach Crabbs.
