Today in Mrs. Benson’s STEM class, we loaded our designs in the laser cutter to finalize our album covers.
For this project, students coded and spliced a song on Code.AI to create their own original piece of music. Then, they named their song and created a band name. After that, students hand drew an album cover after researching how album cover designs help sell music.
This is Addy, who created her song, “Wake Up” by the band Lillamb. Her hand drawn design (white) has been engraved onto red scrapbooking paper and then matted onto a yellow background.
Stay tuned for more to come in 8th Grade STEM.

One of the best ways to practice math? Ice cream, of course! Some of our students ran their own "ice cream store" today and got to practice making change. Thanks, Mrs. Travelbee!
