They are learning that pH is the concentration of hydrogen ions in solution and how to test for the pH of a solution. We used three indicators, universal pH indicator, bromothymol blue and red cabbage juice.

Quincy Athletic Hall of Fame Night 2025
Quincy High School will induct three new members as well as a notable team to
its Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday February 14th at halftime of the Boys Varsity
Basketball game vs the Bronson Vikings, at the Quincy High School gymnasium. This
will be the 22nd year for the Hall of Fame. There have been more than 95 individuals
and several teams inducted into the Hall of Fame who have distinguished themselves
through athletic accomplishments. The selection committee receives nominations from
alumni, staff, or any interested fan of Quincy athletics. The committee considers the
overall contribution to the athletic program of each nominee. Individual statistics may
be a major factor, however, the impact that a player has on the success of teams is a
greater factor in the selection of an individual athlete. Community members, coaches,
and administrators are also found in the Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame committee is pleased to announce Mr. Keith Teachout class of
1980, Mr. Josh Bartell class of 2000, Mr. Jake Rider class of 2015, and the 2005 Quincy
Oriole Women's Basketball team as inductees to the Quincy Athletic Hall of Fame. If you
would like to learn more about the Quincy Athletic Hall of Fame Night, and the inductees
go to Quincy Community Schools Facebook page.

In Mrs. Miller's forensic science the students are learning about blood typing and the impact of blood type on forensic investigations. They worked through two simulations to determine blood type. Science is FUN!
